Description
The Side Impact Sensor (SIS) system consists of two kinds of side impact sensor which are installed at each center of the front door module (left and right) and two rear sensors which are installed in the rear pillar (left and right).

    Inspection 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the crash pad lower panel. (Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Lower Panel") 3. Remove the lower crash pad switch assembly (A) after disengaging the mounting clip. 4. Remove the rheostat switch connector (A).

    Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the head up display bezel (A). 3. Remove the instrument cluster. (Refer to Indicators And Guages - "Instrument Cluster") 4. Remove the head up display unit bracket (A) after loosening the mounting nuts.
