Release the residual pressure in fuel line.
(Refer to Fuel Delivery System -"Release Residual Pressure in Fuel Line")

When removing the fuel pump relay, a Diagnostic Trouble Code
(DTC) may turn up. Delete the code with the GDS after completion of
“Release Residual Pressure in Fuel Line” work. |

Turn the ignition switch OFF and disconnect the battery negative (-) cable. |
3. |
Remove the fuel pump.
(Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "Fuel Pump") |
4. |
Disconnect the fuel sender connector (A). |
5. |
Remove the fuel sender (A) after releasing the fixing hook. |

To install, reverse the removal procedure. |
