Inspection
1.
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2.
Disconnect the evaporator temperature sensor connector.
3.
Measure the resistance between terminal “+” and “-” of the evaporator temperature sensor.

1. Sensor Ground
2. Evaporator sensor (+)

Replacement
1.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2.
Remove the cowl side trim.
(Refer to Body - "Cowl Side Trim")
3.
Remove the glove box upper cover.
(Refer to Body - "Crash Pad Main Lower Assembly")
4.
Remove the evaporator temperature sensor (A), by pulling it after rotating 90° Counterclockwise.

5.
Disconnect the connector, then remove the ambient temperature sensor.
6.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
