Troubleshooting

   

    Components Location 1. Fuel tank2. Fuel pump3. Sub fuel sender4. Fuel filter5. Over Pressure Valve (OPV)6. Canister7. Fuel tank air filter8.

    Fuel Pressure Test 1. Release the residual pressure in fuel line. (Refer to Fuel Delivery System - "Release Residual Pressure in Fuel Line")     When removing the fuel pump relay, a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) may turn up.

    Inspection 1. Turn the ignition switch OFF. 2. Disconnect the mode control actuator connector. 3. Verify that the mode control actuator operates to the defrost mode when connecting 12V to terminal 3 and grounding terminal 4. Verify that the mode control actuator operates to the vent mode when connected in reverse.
