Hyundai Genesis: Floor Carpet / Repair procedures

Replacement
   
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
   
When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
When removing the interior trim pieces, use a plastic panel removal tool not to damage the surface.
Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
1.
Remove the front seat assembly.
(Refer to Front Seat - "Front Seat Assembly")
2.
Remove the rear seat cushion assembly.
(Refer to Rear Seat - "Rear Seat Assembly")
3.
Carefully remove the front door body side weatherstrip.
4.
Carefully remove the rear door body side weatherstrip.
5.
Remove the front door scuff trim.
(Refer to Interior Trim - "Front Door Scuff Trim")
6.
Remove the rear door scuff trim.
(Refer to Interior Trim - "Rear Door Scuff Trim")
7.
Remove the center pillar lower trim.
(Refer to Interior Trim - "Center Pillar Trim")
8.
Remove the cowl side trim.
(Refer to Interior Trim - "Cowl Side Trim")
9.
Remove the floor console assembly.
(Refer to Floor Console - "Floor Console Assembly")
10.
Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the frame id blanking bracket (A).
11.
Remove the accelerator pedal.
(Refer to Engine Control/Fuel System - "Accelerator Pedal")
12.
Remove the floor carpet assembly (B).
13.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
   
Replace any damaged clips.
