Resetting the Panorama Sunroof
Whenever the vehicle battery is disconnected or discharged, or you use the emergency handle to operate the Panorama Sunroof, you have to reset your Panorama Sunroof system as follows :

You need to reset the sunroof motor to its default settings for the following cases :
-
The sunroof motor loses battery power temporarily because the battery or fuse is replaced or the battery has died.
-
The automatic opening or closing of the sunroof, a one-touch feature, does not function properly.
-
The sunroof reopens during automatic closing even if there is no object caught in the sunroof (safety feature)
1.
With the ignition ON, completely close the glass and roller blind using the glass close switch.
2.
With both the glass and roller blind closed, release the glass close switch and press it again. Then the roller blind opens and the glass moves to the tilt up position.
3.
In the tilt up position, release and press the glass close switch within five seconds. After the five seconds, the glass opens and closes, and the sunroof initialization process is completed.
> During the initialization process, if the glass close switch is released and the sunroof stops moving, the initialization is not carried out completely and the process must restart.
Motor Overheating Prevention
To protect the panorama sunroof motor from overheating caused by continuous operation, the panorama sunroof control unit controls the Run-Time and Cool-Time.
1.
The panoramaroof SCU (Sunroof Control Unit) detects the Run- time of motor
2.
Motor can be operated continuously for the T1 Run Time (120 ± 10sec.).
3.
The motor which operates continuously during T1 stops operating in T2 Cool Time (18 ± 2sec.).
4.
And then Motor is not operated for T2 Cool-time(18 ± 2sec.).
5.
The motor continuously operates for T3 Run Time (10 ± 2sec.) after T2 Cool Time (18 ± 2sec.)
6.
Motor which is operated continuously stops operating after T3 Run-time(10 ± 2sec.)
7.
Motor is not operated for the T4 Cool-time(18 ± 2sec.).
8.
The motor repeats T3 and T4 when it continuously is operated.
A.
In case that motor is not operated continuously, Run Time which is limited to prevent overheating increases.
B.
The Run-Time of motor is initialized to "0" if the battery or fuse is reconnected after being disconnected, discharged or blown.

T1 : 120 ± 10 sec., T2 : 18 ± 2 sec.,
