Removal and Installation
Oil filter body
1.
Disconnect the battery "-" terminal from the trunk room.
2.
Remove the engine under cover.
(Refer to Engine And Transaxle Assembly - "Engine Room Under Cover")
3.
Remove the engine oil filter body (A).
Tightening torque :
20.6 ~ 22.6 N.m (2.1 ~ 2.3 kgf.m, 15.2 ~ 16.1 lb-ft)

   

    Components 1. Oil filter cap2. O-ring3. Oil filter element4. Oil filter body5. Oil seal

    Components 1. 2WD Lower oil pan2. AWD Lower oil pan3. 2WD Upper oil pan4. AWD Upper oil pan5. Cylinder block

    Removal 1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal. 2. Remove the rear bumper. (Refer to Body - "Rear Bumper") 3. Remove the BSD unit (A) after loosening the mounting nuts.     Take care not to separate the bracket from rear bumper when removing the BSD sensor.
