Hyundai Genesis: Front Seat / Front Seat Shield Outer Cover Repair procedures

Replacement

• Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.

• When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components. • When removing the interior trim pieces, use a plastic panel removal tool not to damage the surface. • Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

1.	Remove the front seat center shield cover (A).

2.	After loosening the mounting screws, remove the front seat front shield outer cover (A).

3.	Disconnect the power seat air lumber support switch connector (A).

4.	After loosening the mounting screws, separate the front shield outer cover (A) from the rear shield outer cover (B).

5.	Install in the reverse order of removal. • Make sure the connector is connected properly. • Replace any damaged clips.
