Replacement
   
Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries.
   
When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components.
When removing the interior trim pieces, use a plastic panel removal tool not to damage the surface.
Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
1.
Disconnect the negative(-) battery terminal.
2.
Remove the floor console assembly.
(Refer to Floor Console - "Floor Console Assembly")
3.
Remove the crash pad side garnish assembly.
(Refer to Crash Pad - "Crash pad side garnish assembly [RH]")
4.
Remove the center facia panel assembly.
(Refer to Heating,Ventilation and Air Conditioning - "Controller")
5.
Remove the monitor facia panel (A).

6.
Remove the AVN head unit.
(Refer to Body Electrical System - "AVN Head Unit")
7.
Remove the cluster fascia panel.
(Refer to Crash Pad - "Cluster Fascia Panel")
8.
Remove the cowl side trim.
(Refer to Interior Trim - "Cowl Side Trim")
9.
Remove the crash pad lower panel.
(Refer to Crash Pad - "Crash Pad Lower Panel")
10.
Remove the glove box.
(Refer to Crash Pad - "Glove Box")
11.
Remove the crash pad under cover [RH].
(Refer to Crash Pad - "Crash pad under cover [RH]")
12.
After loosening the mounting screws, bolts and nuts, remove the glove box housing (A) by using a screw driver.

13.
Disconnect the glove box lamp connector (A), the main trunk switch connector (B) and the lamp switch connector (C).

14.
After loosening the mounting screws, bolts and nuts, remove the crash pad main lower assembly (A).

15.
Remove the start button connector (A).

16.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
   
Make sure the connector is connected properly.
Replace any damage clips.
