Hyundai Genesis: Crash Pad / Crash Pad Lower Panel Repair procedures

Put on gloves to prevent hand injuries. |

When removing with a flat-tip screwdriver or remover, wrap protective tape around the tools to prevent damage to components. |
• |
When removing the interior trim pieces, use a plastic panel removal tool not to damage the surface. |
• |
Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels. |

Remove the cowl side trim.
(Refer to Interior Trim - "Cowl Side Trim") |
2. |
Using a screwdriver or remover, remove the crash pad side cover [LH] (A). |
3. |
After loosening the mounting screws, remove the crash pad lower panel (A). |
4. |
Disconnect the diagnosis connector (A) and various connectors (B). |
5. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Make sure the connector is connected properly. |
• |
Replace any damage clips. |
